Rose McCan
Rose loves writing her own songs and tunes in the Irish folk style, mixing genres, and creating unusual covers (such as Danny Boy or The Wild Rover in Swiss dialect). She also likes variety on stage, so she accompanying herself on the mandola and guitar or playing her Irish drum (bodhran) at “Irish Sessions.”
She has already released several songs and will be releasing her debut album this April.

Ros Rain
Rose is now also exploring the pop world and expanding her musical horizons as Ros Rain. Her two-year ‘pop apprenticeship’ (as she calls her genre excursion) is coming to an end. Her first single was released on February 9, 2024, and her debut album will be released on February 13, 2026—as a kind of master's thesis, so to speak. Next steps: find fellow musicians to bring this songs to the stage in a pop style; until then, she will perform them in singer-songwriter style.

"Stelldichein"
A few times a year, Rose invites other songwriters from other genres to unamplified co-concerts at the Bistro Alte Kaserne in Winterthur. Only original compositions or extremly unusual covers are presented.
Irish sessions
Before and after the Celtic concerts, concert-goers are offered a touch of Irish pub atmosphere. As concert musicians often join our Irish Session after the concerts (often world-famous greats), such evenings remain unforgettable.

Slow sessions
This slow lesson is not a sheet session, but a closed Irish session at a cosy pace. We meet 4 times a year and play from a fixed playlist (so you can practise at home if you like).
The first public slow session will take place in November 2025 in the bistro of the Alte Kaserne in Winterthur.
For those who are interested:
"The formation and management of a trio, which had evolved from the music session scene, will stay forever in my memory. Sadly Joel, a flute player with many talents, passed away unexpectedly in early 2020. He inspires me even today."
